The Carolina Seminar of Labor and Working Class History is pleased to present three amazing papers for the Fall 2024 semester:
Lesa Redmond (Duke) will present a chapter from her dissertation titled “‘The product of our muscle and our brains’: Charles Hunter and the North Carolina Industrial Association” on September 27th at 3:30pm in the Love House and over zoom.
Jennifer Standish (UNC-CH) will present a chapter from her dissertation titled “Private, Public, Local, National: The Rise of the American Farm Bureau Federation in American Politics” on October 25th at 3:30pm over zoom.
Ajamu Dillabunt-Holloway (NCSU) will present a paper titled “UE Returns South: The Consolidated Diesel Company and Building the North Carolina Public Service Union” on November 22nd at 3:30pm at the Love House and over zoom.
